Colliers Names Chief of Project Management for China

Harco Te Lindert

Project management veteran Harco te Lindert is joining Colliers

Colliers International is ramping up its ability to design and build offices, in addition to leasing, buying and selling them, by welcoming Harco te Lindert as Head of Project Management for China. In this newly created role, the industry veteran will be building the company’s project management consultancy business across China while supporting clients with project management services.

“Harco brings more than 20 years of experience in Design Management, Tender and Construction Management across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors,” said Sam Harvey-Jones, Managing Director of Occupier Services, Asia at Colliers. “He also has additional skills in Health and Safety, LEED standards, CRM and business development. His appointment will give added support to our enterprising clients in delivering effective, flexible and high performance user environments.”

Based in Shanghai since 2008, Te Lindert has over nine years of experience in senior-level positions with Shanghai SIP Engineering and DHV Engineering Consultancy. Before heading to China, he spent six years managing infrastructure projects with ARCADIS in the Netherlands.

Te Lindert is the latest high-profile personnel win for the global real estate consulting firm. Colliers brought qualified architect Truddy Cheung on board as Head of Workplace and Change Management for Hong Kong and introduced former CBRE executive Alan Fung as its new Managing Director for Guangzhou earlier this year.

Since former JLL executive David Hand took over as the consultancy’s APAC CEO in 2015, Colliers has been building up a regional structure, and in China a national structure, for a company that in the past had operated more independently from city to city, with national-level directors such as te Linder forming a key part of that strategy.
