It’s promotion week here in China’s real estate community with multiple agency executives getting bumped up the ladder, plus new leadership at Citic and a new head of asset management for JLL in Greater China. Read on for details.
Jeff Liu (刘颖浩)has joined Citic Capital as an associate director with the Chinese investment firm’s China real estate division and is based in Shanghai. Liu, who comes from a project management background, previously was a senior project director with developer Portman Holdings for more than four years.
Stanley Y S Leung has joined JLL in Hong Kong to take on the role of head of asset management, Greater China. Leung who previously had been head of office services for CBRE in Shenzhen has also worked with a number of Hong Kong developers, including Hysan, and Swire.
Louisa Luo has been promoted to senior director with CBRE in Shanghai, and is now head of the company’s industrial and logistics services for China. Luo has been with CBRE since 2006 and had served as a business development executive with consulting firm BizVision International for nearly two years.
Brook Yang (杨川) is now a senior manager with real estate consultancy Knight Frank in Shanghai, after having been promoted from the rank of manager, earlier this month. Yang has been with Knight Frank for nearly four years and earlier served with Cushman & Wakefield.
Bonnie Huang has been promoted to Associate Director with the Retail Services team at CBRE in Shanghai. Huang has been with CBRE for more than two years now after joining the company from Hutchison Harbour Ring Group where she served as a senior officer for business development and leasing.
Cathy Wong has taken on the role of senior operations manager for the Deutsche Bank account with real estate services firm JLL in Hong Kong. Wong has been with JLL since 2010, having started in the company’s residential services division before joining the client services team in 2011.
Lucy Xu has been promoted senior manager with the China retailer representation team at CBRE in Shanghai. Xu, who has been with the property agency for nearly four years now assists international retailers with expanding their footprints in China. Prior to joining CBRE Xu had been a leasing officer with Reel Park Place in Shanghai.
Nick Yeung has been promoted to the rank of manager with Cushman & Wakefield in Hong Kong. Formerly serving the US-based real estate services company as an assistant manager for more than one year, Yeung who works in valuation, has also previously worked at Knight Frank.
Ming Tam has been promoted to senior portfolio manager with Cushman & Wakefield in Hong Kong, having previously served the company as a porfolio manager for more than one year. Prior to joining the real estate services firm, Tam had worked with the Airport Authority of Hong Kong for nearly six years.
Terry (Tengyu) Xu has been promoted to senior manager with the client services team at CBRE in Shanghai. Xu has been with the real estate services company for nearly 3 years, previously holding the title of manager, and holds degrees in engineering management from Tongji University in Shanghai and Southern Methodist University in the US.
