This casual business event is open to all Mingtiandi readers, and the charge is RMB 100 per person, including 2 house drinks and canapés.

We expect a good turn out from real estate investors, analysts and brokers, and I hope to see you there.
Mingtiandi Surges to Over 700 Visits Per Day
The happy hour event is in part a way to thank all of you for your continued support of Mingtiandi. Thanks to all of you, visits to the website averaged more than 700 people per day in April, totaling more than 21,000 visits for the month.
The Mingtiandi newsletter also set new records, gaining 159 new subscribers during the month, including representatives of major investment companies including Blackrock, CBRE Global Investors, CLSA, LaSalle Investments, and Morgan Stanley.
More Design Enhancements on the Way
Finally, over the holiday I took the opportunity to make a few upgrades to the Mingtiandi, which I hope will improve your experience with the site.
First, I migrated the whole operation to a new server with a solid-state drive, which helped reduce page-load times to under two seconds from the previous three second average. Yeah, that sounds pretty geeky, but I pride myself on bringing you the news quickly.
Also over the weekend, I reorganized the site’s content to now include sections on real estate finance and development projects. These sections replace the former pages devoted to listed developers and real estate M&A, and are based on analysis of what most visitors tend to read on the site. I hope you’ll like them.
To help out with the event next week, I added a new event management system to Mingtiandi as well.
Finally, while I promised some design changes over the weekend, these are not quite ready yet, but are still on the way. Expect to see an upgraded visual identity for the site and the newsletter later this month, and I’ll look forward to your feedback on them
As always, if you have comments or suggestions on the site, please feel free to get in touch, and have a good week.
