
Yasuo Suzuki, Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, NTT Global Data Centres
Yasuo Suzuki is Executive Vice President, Managing Director for Japan and APAC for NTT Global Data Centers and is responsible for the overall data center service in Japan and APAC. At the beginning of his career in the international business portfolio of NTT, Yasuo served as Duty General Manager of the NTT Communications Philippines Branch between 1998 and 2001. From 2001 to 2008, he was responsible for business development in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East and Russia, engaging with various telecom carriers to deploy NTT Communications’ network services globally. He played a key role in helping to expand NTT Communications’ international business portfolio.
From 2008 to 2013, Yasuo was Director of Group and Alliance Strategy in the Corporate Planning Department, responsible for various global acquisitions, including Netmagic, Virtela, PC1 Cable and Emerio. He moved to the Data Center Engineering Department in 2013 and joined RagingWire Data Centers (at the time, a subsidiary of NTT Communications) in the US as Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning in 2015, contributing to the growth of our data center business in the US until March 2020, when he assumed his current role.
