Execs From Partners Group, CDPQ, ESR Join Speaker Roster for Singapore Forum

With just over a month remaining before Mingtiandi’s fourth annual Singapore Forum, nearly 30 speakers have confirmed their plans to speak at Southeast Asia’s biggest real estate investment event of 2025.

In the past two weeks, senior executives from Partners Group, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ), ESR and more have joined the growing list of experts who will share their expertise at the forum on 13 May.

Also new to the agenda for the event at the Conrad Centennial Hotel is a spotlight interview session with leaders from Stonepeak-backed logistics platform Equalbase, and its investment management affiliate Northmod, as they share insights into the potential for growth in Asia’s industrial market.

With the speaker roster nearly complete, more than 250 senior industry executives are now expected to join the forum, with another 300 or more attending online, making it Mingtiandi’s largest event ever. Tickets to the event are available at the link above and a few speaking positions remain.

Logistics Growth Continues

After inking a deal to lease an entire 830,000 square foot (77,109 square metre) warehouse last month as part of a 2.2 million square foot project in Malaysia’s Johor Bahru, Singapore-based Equalbase will be represented on stage by its chief executive officer, Nicholas Bischoff, who will be appearing together with Northmod investment director Jon Sim.

In an interview with Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole, Bischoff and Sim will be sharing from their experience establishing a network of logistics facilities across Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea, as well as their vision for expanding that regional portfolio.

Keeping the focus on the framework for the region’s economic growth will be a panel on infrastructure and industrial real estate in Asia Pacific, with Payam Eshragi, group head of infrastructure at ESR and CDPQ managing director Josephine Yip set to speak in that session. The panel will be moderated by Benjamin ST Tay, deputy head of corporate real estate at law firm Rajah & Tann Asia.

Joining a session dedicated to investment in Australian living strategies will be Sam Bisla, founder and managing director of Warburg Pincus-backed platform Kio and Matt Berg, founder and co-CEO of Macquarie-backed BTR specialist, Local:Residential, with additional speakers to be named in the coming days.

In a panel on India investment opportunities, John Dixon, investment leader with Partners Group will be speaking alongside Clarence Tan, senior vice president for development in Asia Pacific with Hilton in a session moderated by Shirin Tang, a principal with Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow. Additional speakers are expected to join that panel shortly.

Recently signed up for a panel on Singapore’s growing role as a global capital hub is Jason Chan, director for fund solutions with corporate service provider Vistra, who will be moderating a discussion featuring Jeremy Lake, managing director for investment sales and capital markets at Savills Singapore, Samuel Lee, chief executive officer and executive director with investment platform Fraxtor and other investment leaders.

Industry Leaders on Stage

With the forum agenda also including sessions on hospitality investment, student housing, residential investment in Asia and a keynote panel, the event will kick off with a conversation with Bart Price, chief executive of life sciences platform Vita Partners, Tag Yuxiang a principal at US private equity giant Warburg Pincus, and CBRE advisor Rimon Ambarchi, about how they have been working together to build Asia’s largest investment initiative in the sector.

The forum will also feature an interview with Scape founder, group CEO and managing director Stephen Gaitanos about how he and his team built the region’s biggest rental residential platform and the outlook for managed living solutions in Australia and beyond.

The keynote panel, an annual feature of the forum which brings together the region’s largest investors and most experienced advisors will explore the impacts of the trade war on the outlook for the region and other major investment themes. Joining the panel this year are Alessandro Fiascaris, head of Asia Pacific with Oxford Properties, George Agethen of CDPQ, Knight Frank Singapore chief executive Galven Tan and Hilton Asia Pacific president Alan Watts.
