Panel: Australian BTR Investment Mingtiandi APAC Residential Forum 2024

2024/03/07 by Danita Phaopat Leave a Comment

Australia remains a prime target for investors from Japan, Singapore and other Asian hubs step up their commitments to the sector at the same time that many institutions from North America and Europe go into ‘wait-and-see’ mode.

With the country experiencing some of the strongest housing price pressures in the region while it faces an upswing in new arrivals to its major cities, the A$39 billion ($25 billion) build-to-rent (BTR) sector has emerged as a beacon of potential, as it begins to catch up with more developed rental markets like the US and Japan.
