Following a top level debate of core logistics opportunities in Asia Pacific on MTD TV on 6 July, strategies for achieving investment returns from developing new warehouse facilities will come into focus this coming Tuesday in the next session of Mingtiandi’s Asia Logistics Real Estate Forum.
The one-hour show, which is sponsored by Yardi, features experts from top regional developers Logos and ESR, as well as insights from a veteran JLL advisor and a top executive from fast-growing Vietnam startup BW Industrial.
The session starts at 10:00 AM Hong Kong time on 13 July, and you can register through the link above.
During the program the panelists will be exploring which countries offer the most promising returns for logistics development ventures, and with more than 27 million square metres (290 million square feet) in facilities under their management, will be sharing what they expect to come next in fast growing markets in Southeast Asia, India and other parts of the region.
Developers and Advisors Share Insights
Joining the discussion from ESR will be Jai Mirpuri, the developer and fund manager’s head of Singapore development and Thailand, who is currently looking after the company’s projects in two Southeast Asia’s largest markets after earlier stints running operations in India, Japan and China.
From ARA Asset Management-backed Logos, MTD TV will welcome Peter Garrison, the company’s head of strategic customers, who works with top e-commerce providers, leading manufacturers and other major users of logistics space to share his insights into the dynamics of demand around the region.
To share the perspective from Southeast Asia’s hottest market, BW Industrial director Michael Chan will be providing his insights from his time working with clients in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in his role with the Warburg Pincus-backed industrial developer.
JLL’s Priyank Shah, who advises on deals throughout Asia Pacific in his role as a Singapore-based senior director with the firm’s capital markets team, will provide an impartial view of which way the market is heading, from his experience working with developers, fund managers and other investors across the region.
China Session on the Way
The 13 July session is the fourth show in Mingtiandi’s logistics real estate forum which has already attracted more than 3,000 viewers from Asia Pacific’s real estate community.
The forum will conclude on 21 July with a panel dedicated to logistics and e-commerce in mainland China, which will include Victor Mok, chairman and chief executive of GLP’s asset management platform in China, Cushman & Wakefield head of investors services for Asia Pacific Dennis Yeo, and ESR China chief operating officer Zhou Bo.
