Mingtiandi Singapore Forum Brings in Nearly 200 Industry Leaders

Mingtiandi’s Singapore forum concluded on Tuesday with nearly 200 top decision-makers gathering to hear in-depth interviews and panel discussions covering real estate investment in the city-state and across Southeast Asia.

A keynote panel with George Agethen of Ivanhoe Cambridge, Alessandro Fiascaris of Oxford Properties, Sangwook Kang of KIC and Jeremy Lake of Savills filled the ballroom at the Conrad Centennial Hotel in Singapore, with a full recording of the session available for viewing here.

In a spotlight interview with Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole, Warburg Pincus managing director Fan Li, Fion Ng, COO of Vietnam’s BW Industrial and Kevin Kow, Group CEO and president director with Indonesia’s NWP Property explained the potential for creating industrial platforms in Southeast Asia’s hottest markets. In a panel on Singapore commercial markets, Andrew Lee, a director with BlackRock who heads investment in Singapore and Southeast Asia; Imelda Tham, a managing director for investment with Gaw Capital and Emilia Teo, a managing director and co-founder of TE Capital Partners saw the local market holding opportunities for investors which take a long-term view. The forum and MTD TV video were sponsored by Yardi.

During the commercial panel, Emilia Teo of TE Capital announced that her company has just secured an agreement to purchase the VisionCrest Commercial building on Penang Road in Singapore’s biggest office transaction of 2023.
