Mingtiandi’s collection of people moves this week has a high tech tinge, as a newly launched data centre developer introduces a Morgan Stanley veteran as its new CFO, the former head of JLL’s eastern China operation joints a managed-office startup and Australia’s Lendlease fortifies its digital team in Singapore. There’s also a new director at the owner of Club Med and executives changing jobs in Guangzhou and Saigon.
New World Development-backed data centre startup Turbidite has added some financial talent to its team with the company announcing this past week that it has hired former Morgan Stanley executive Stan Ngai as its chief financial officer. Ngai joins the freshly formed firm after more than 23 years with Morgan Stanley, where he served as China CFO and head of Asia Pacific investment management controller until the end of last year.
Former JLL East China chief Eddie Ng has joined mainland managed office platform Gee as chief operating officer, according to a statement by the company. After more than 25 years at JLL, Ng is expected to further integrate the core business operations and team structure of the three-year-old company, which offers fully furnished offices in cooperation with developers. The company aims to leverage its capabilities in space design, corporate decoration supply chain and intelligent office systems to create “asset-light new office communities.”
Aussie developer Lendlease has appointed Preetham Nadig as head of its Singapore product development centre and vice president of engineering for its Lendlease Digital division in Asia, according to a press release this past week. Reporting to Pankaj Srivastava, chief technology officer for Lendlease Digital, the former Zuellig Pharma executive will be responsible for driving product technology development for the company’s Podium platform of digital solutions for the built environment.
Fosun Tourism Group has appointed Xu Bingbin as an executive director on the company’s board, according to an announcement to the Hong Kong stock exchange. A veteran of Fosun Group, Xu has been with the company since 2009. During his years with the Shanghai-based conglomerate, Xu has served as a director of its Club Med SAS subsidiary, as well as its UK tourism unit Thomas Cook, among other responsibilities.
Hellen Wu Xingmei has joined Jinke Real Estate in Guangzhou as deputy director of customer and market research, according to an update to her LinkedIn profile. Wu joins the Hong Kong-listed developer from rival KWG Holding Group, where she had served as head of product planning and research for southern China for the past two years. The Coventry University graduate also has experience with China Vanke and Cushman & Wakefield.
BW Industrial has promoted Minh Ngoc to key account manager, according to an update to her LinkedIn profile. Minh took her step up this month after just less than two years with the Warburg Pincus-backed industrial developer, where she had previously served as an assistant manager with the business development team. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, the Hanoi University graduate also has previous experience with developer Tan Thuan Corporation.
