Real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield continued to expand its China team last week by bringing over Linda Chan as a director with the New York-based company’s Tenant Advisory Group.
Operating from Cushman & Wakefield’s Beijing office, Chan will be responsible for the company’s leasing services on behalf of tenants. The new role appears to give Chan the opportunity to make good use of the skills she has built through the four years that she spent managing the operations of JLL’s industrial services business in Beijing.
At JLL, Chan was responsible for overseeing consulting service delivery on industrial projects, including business park and logistics deals.
Prior to her time with JLL, Chan spent nearly six years on the office leasing team with Savills in Beijing.
Real Estate Consultancy Continues China Growth Scheme
Chan’s hiring seems to be part of Cushman & Wakefield’s steady expansion of their China team since Jonathan Davis took over responsibility for the privately held company’s mainland operations in November last year.
Earlier this month the brokerage had added David Hui as its new Guangzhou general manager, and its Tenant Advisory Group, which Chan is joining, has added several members from CBRE’s office leasing team, including the former head of the CBRE’s Shanghai office team, Michael Stacy, who moved to Cushman last year.
