Mingtiandi is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy statement applies to the Mingtiandi Tech Survey. It does not apply to other Mingtiandi surveys, sites, products or services.
Collecting Your Information
Some personal information may be collected about you if you choose to participate in the survey. In particular, your responses to survey questions, as well as details about how you connected to this survey website, including your IP address, and the date and time when you connected may be collected. Information collected may also include contact details, such as your name, address, email address and phone number.
Survey responses are collected by Survey Monkey, a market research company commissioned by Mingtiandi to conduct this survey on Mingtiandi’s behalf. All information collected by Survey Monkey in the context of this survey will be shared with Mingtiandi.
How Mingtiandi Uses Your Information
Your responses to the survey questions will be linked to the contact information you have provided to Mingtiandi (either in the survey or during a previous interaction with Mingtiandi) so that we can identify how individual survey participants responded to the questions.
Your contact details, including your name, phone number, address and email address, may be used by Mingtiandi to carry out the survey, to communicate with you about the survey, to provide you with incentives for completing the survey, and to carry out any other transactions you have requested or authorized. If you have provided your permission, Mingtiandi may also contact you regarding participation in future research. Mingtiandi may also use the collected information to administer the survey, to improve future surveys, and to analyze aggregate trends and survey results.
Where Information Is Processed and Stored
Personal information collected on Mingtiandi sites and services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where Mingtiandi or its affiliates, subsidiaries or service providers maintain facilities, and by completing the survey, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. Mingtiandi abides by the US-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the US-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Economic Area, and Switzerland.
Sharing or Disclosing Personal Information
Except as otherwise described in this statement, personal information you provide in the survey will not be shared outside of Mingtiandi and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates without your permission. However, in addition to any sharing described in the privacy statement above, Mingtiandi may share or disclose personal information:
- With other Mingtiandi controlled subsidiaries and affiliates.
- As part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
- With suppliers or agents. Specifically, Mingtiandi may share information with companies hired by Mingtiandi to provide services on Mingtiandi’s behalf. For example, Mingtiandi occasionally hires other companies to provide limited services such as packaging, mailing and delivering prizes, answering customer questions about products and services, sending postal mail, and sending information about Mingtiandi’s products, special offers, and other new services.
