China Real Estate People in the News 2014-03-03

This week in China’s professional real estate community we find promotions on Colliers’ Investment team, new moves at JLL, and more folks making money by selling foreign homes to wealthy locals. Read all about it in this week’s China Real Estate People in the News. Only on Mingtiandi.

Brendon FryeBrendon Frye has been promoted to Senior Manager with the Investment Services team at Colliers International in Shanghai. Currently responsible for the development of Colliers’ China outbound investment platform. Frye, who is the son of Colliers’ global President and Chief Executive Officer Doug Frye, takes on his new role after serving with the Investment Services team since 2010, most recently with the rank of Manager.

Jean-Bernard d'HoseJean-Bernard d’Hose has been promoted to the role of Global Transaction Manager, with responsibility for the UCB account at Jones Lang LaSalle, and will be focusing on projects in mainland China for 2014. Prior to taking on his new responsibilities d’Hose served as an Account Manager at JLL, after having worked at engineering consultancy Realys (ISG Plc.)  in Shanghai.

Levi Ye Jones LangLevi Ye has taken on the role of Local Director for Capital Markets at Jones Lang LaSalle in Shanghai. A veteran of China’s industrial real estate market, in his new role Ye heads up the logistics and industrial investments business line for JLL. Previously, Ye served for four years as a director with the Industrial Services team at Colliers International in Shanghai, and had already worked with the team at Jone Lang from 2007 to 2010.

Jennifer ZinggJennifer Zingg has advanced to the role of Manager for Client Relations at The Executive Centre in Hong Kong. Before moving up to take on her expanded role with the serviced office provider, Zingg served as Business Development Manager at The Executive Centre for one year and had earlier been employed as Membership (Sales) Manager at private member club Quintessentially in Hong Kong.

Michael BradleyMichael Bradley is now Principle for Group GSA in Shanghai. Bradley’s new role is a result of the merger of his three-year old practice with Sydney-based Group GSA. – the new firm being Group GSA+MBA. Bradley previously served as General Manager for Irish architecture firm Henry J Lyons (China) for nearly three years.

Agnes CheungAgnes Cheung is now Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Zibeline International Properties Consultancy Limited in Hong Kong. In her new role, Cheung is in charge of sales and marketing of high-end properties from Southeast Asia, Europe and North America to individual buyers in Greater China. Previously, Cheung served as Senior Sales Director with DTZ in Hong Kong.

Leon (Ang) LiLeon (Ang) Li has been promoted to Senior Associate with the office leasing team for property advisory firm Savills in Beijing. Li focuses on commercial leasing brokerage and tenant representation advisory for domestic & multinational corporations. Previously, Li served as a Senior Analyst on the team.

Magdelyne CaiMagdelyne Cai has been promoted to the role of Associate Director for Business Development with real estate consultancy Colliers International in Singapore. Cai’s career move comes after serving as a Senior Manager in the Business Development department with the Seattle, Washington-based company since January of last year.

Liping XuLiping Xu has moved up to the rank of Vice section chief with Changzhou Wujin National Industrial Zone in the city of Changzhou, in Jiangsu. Xu is responsible for assisting foreign and domestic investors to set up new businesse in the zone, and previously served as a Project Manager with the government body since 2009.
