Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Singapore, Rava Partners (“Rava”) is Hillhouse’s dedicated real assets strategy, investing in real assets that build the physical infrastructure underpinning Asia Pacific’s growth.
Unlike peers that adopt an opportunistic “buy-fix-sell” approach focused on individual assets, Rava pursues a platform investment strategy that seeks to partner with high-quality founders and management teams at the forefront of Asia’s new economy, applying a private equity toolkit to build businesses that address structural supply imbalances.
Rava focuses on new economy real assets, including digital and energy infrastructure, living and hospitality, logistics / industrial, social infrastructure, life sciences, healthcare, and adjacent sectors.
Since inception, Rava has invested over US$3.6 billion, on behalf of funds managed by Rava and Hillhouse, investing in more than 20 real assets companies across the region. The firm leverages on-the-ground teams in eight key APAC markets, including Singapore, Mumbai, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, and UAE.
