New World, Sino Land Win Top Gongs at PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Sponsored Feature

Best Developer (Hong Kong and Macau) - Sino Land

Sino Land won the title for Best Developer (Hong Kong and Macau) at the ceremony held in Bangkok

Heavyweight builders New World China and Sino Land picked up the top prizes at last week’s PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards honouring the best of the real estate business in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

New World China won the title of Best Developer (Mainland China) while Sino Land received the award for Best Developer (Hong Kong and Macau) at the luncheon and presentation ceremony held in Bangkok. The event at The Athenee Hotel, supported by official partner Anjuke, marked a return to handing out awards in person after a series of virtual broadcasts that began in 2020.

Zhuhai Huafa Sky Hill Mansion won for Best Condo Development (Mainland China) in one of multiple wins for Zhuhai Huafa Properties, while Jardini gained the title of Best Condo Development (Hong Kong and Macau) among other accolades for CITIC Pacific. The Best Boutique Developer (Hong Kong and Macau) title went to CSI Properties.

CSI Properties, CITIC Pacific and China Construction Engineering picked up development awards

Design Shines

Sino Land’s The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong scooped up the award for Best Hotel Development (Hong Kong and Macau), with the property also honoured for Best Green Development (Hong Kong and Macau).

Hong Kong design shop Lead8 received numerous wins for its local and mainland projects — namely ITC Shanghai, K11 Atelier 11 Skies and MixC Nanjing — while Benoy Ltd won Best Mixed-Use Interior Design (Mainland China) for China Merchants Commercial Property Management’s Tianfu Garden City.

The Arles, K11 Atelier 11 Skies, Jardini and 350-352 Nathan Road projects honoured with design awards

Design Power House was honoured for its work on the Shanghai Aerospace Science & Technology City, taking home the award for Best Retail Interior Design (Mainland China).

Shanghai Landmark

Other award-winning projects in Hong Kong and Macau included Grand Jeté by CK Asset Holdings and Sun Hung Kai Properties, M8 by China Construction Engineering (Macau) and The Arles by Centralcon Properties.

In mainland China, Shun Tak Qiantan (Shanghai) Cultural and Real Estate Company won Best Landmark Development and Best Mixed-Use Development for New Bund 31.
