The markets may be slowing down in Hong Kong and mainland China but developers and real estate service providers in the region must still be confident in the long-term picture, as they continue to reward their top performers with new roles. Leading off this week’s look at who gets a new name card, a veteran manager of Shanghai commercial projects is taking on his biggest role yet in the area surrounding Xintiandi, while a number of brokers and consultants from JLL and Colliers were rewarded with promotions this month. All the details await you below.

Clarence Lee Shui OnClarence Lee has taken charge of Shui On Land’s Taipingqiao Project in Shanghai as General Manager for the master-planned development anchored by the Xintiandi commercial centre. In his new role, Lee, who previously served as General Manager for Leasing and Management at Swire Properties and HKRI’s HKRI Taikoo Hui project on West Nanjing Road, will be in charge of Shui On’s Xintiandi Style, Xintiandi Plaza and Hubingdao developments in Huangpu district, in addition to Xintiandi itself and the development of a RMB 13.6 billion site near Huaihai Road which the developer purchased in July.
