Leading today’s roundup of job changes, Radisson Hotel Group is bringing a hospitality veteran to Singapore to drive the hotelier’s growth in the Asia Pacific region, and the Asian asset management arm of Prudential is shaking up its leadership in the city-state. Over in Hong Kong, gaming firm Caesars Entertainment is welcoming a new executive to build its hotel business, and investment firms are adding to their teams in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Read on for all these people moves and more.

Ramzy Fenianos is joining Radisson Hotel Group as Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific, leaving Minor Hotel Group, according to a statement by the global hotel operator. Effective June 11, Fenianos will be based in the hotelier’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, leading the regional development team in identifying new opportunities to drive the growth of Radisson’s hotel portfolio. Fenianos, who will also serve as a member of the Asia Pacific executive committee, previously worked for Bangkok-based Minor Hotels as vice president of development for the EMEA region, stationed in Dubai. With more than 15 years of real estate and hospitality experience, he has also held senior roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Dubai Holding Group.

Ooi Boon Peng has been elevated to CEO of the Singapore office of Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management arm of UK insurer Prudential plc, according to a news report this month. Ooi was previously chief investment officer (CIO) of fixed income, a position he held since joining the company in 2007. Through the recent reshuffle, he also takes the role of regional fixed income officer at Eastspring. Phil Stockwell previously held the dual roles of CEO and chief operating officer and will now focus exclusively on the latter position, according to the report. Eastspring had $188 billion of assets under management, including property securities, in Asia at year-end 2017.

Samuel Lin has joined Caesars Entertainment Corporation as Vice President of Hotel Development, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Stepping into the role last month, Lin is responsible for growing the American gaming firm’s non-gaming hospitality business throughout Asia Pacific, via its four hotel brands Caesars, Cromwell, Flamingo and LINQ. Lin previously served as head of business development for China at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, based in Shanghai, after working at Capella Hotel Group Asia and HVS.

Shuoyuan (Al) Wang has stepped on board PGA (Penta Global Advisors) China as a Senior Investment Associate in Shanghai this month. Wang takes the role at the Hong Kong-based international investment firm after spending about one year as a senior investment manager with Shanghai Prosperity Fund, where he specialised in underwriting, financial analytics, taxation, researching and deal structuring advisory. The Chartered Financial Analyst and Shanghai University graduate also has previous experience with Shanghai Worldunion Equity Investment and JLL.

Vicky Zhang (张鑫) has joined Alibaba Group as an Admin Expert in the tech giant’s home city of Hangzhou, eastern China, after working at property consultancy CBRE in Shanghai as a Project Manager for over a year. Prior to that, she served as a facility officer followed by national space planner at rival brokerage JLL for a total of over six years. Zhang started her career as a translator in Beijing after graduating from the Nanjing Institute of Technology.

Shuan McManus has joined private equity real estate fund manager IP Investment Management (IPIM) as an Associate, based in Hong Kong this month. In the new role, McManus helps provide high-net-worth individuals and family offices access to investment opportunities focussing on alternative sectors. He was previously a retail consultant at global property brokerage JLL in Hong Kong for nearly four years, representing a team that worked with clients including Nike, Lacoste, and Volcom. McManus holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nottingham.

Benson Wu has joined Suzhou Qixi Biological Silicon Valley as Deputy General Manager, responsible for the investment and operation of the industrial park focussed on the biological medicine industry. He previously worked as an associate director at pharmaceutical firm WuXi AppTec, and before that, as a marketing manager at logistics developer GLP and a department director at the Taicang Investment Promotion Bureau in Taicang, a satellite city of Shanghai.
