• China to Up Investment in Industrial Wastewater Treatment

  China may need to invest more than 120 billion yuan on the industrial wastewater treatment sector during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, reports China Securities Journal. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China discharged 23.75 billion tons of industrial wastewater in 2010, accounting for 38.47 percent of total waste water.
