And it seems quite a number of them have a particular liking to work in the city-state of Singapore, before moving to London, New York or Hong Kong. Read on for all the details.
Qiao Yu is now an Associate with real estate investment house Pamfleet’s Shanghai office. Prior to this, she has been with Tishman Speyer for close to three years as an Investment Analyst. Qiao joins Pamfleet just a few months after the Hong Kong-based firm conducted a $55 million closing on its Pamfleet Shanghai Real Estate Fund and began building a mainland team. In addition to her experience at Tishman Speyer, Qiao also has served with USB Global Asset Management and Jones Lang LaSalle. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Real Estate from the University of Reading, Berkshire.
Lucie Wong Yin To has become a Community Manager at the Shanghai office of TechTemple, a mainland co-working provider that was founded in 2013 to target early stage Internet startups. She moved from Mercedes-Benz Arena, where she held the title of Strategic Partnership Manager for a year. Prior to this, she was an Associate Consultant at Michael Page. Wong graduated from The University of Nottingham Ningbo in China, with a degree in international business with communication studies.
Apara Guha is the new Director of Corporate Services for EMEA at Colliers International in London. Guha takes on her new role in the UK after nearly twenty years with Cushman & Wakefield, including several years in Singapore. During her time at C&W the University of Mumbai graduate held roles including Partner, Managing Director and Executive Director of Account Management for APAC.
Dominic Harding has just moved to New York to assume the role of Director at Savills Studley, the US affiliate of the UK-based consultancy. The new role in the Big Apple comes after Harding served more than five years with Savills in the region, working in Hong Kong and, most recently, Singapore. The University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne graduate also has previous experience with Quintain in London.
Edmund Eng has been promoted to country manager with Regus in Hong Kong, taking a major step up at the serviced office provider. Eng’s promotion comes after spending more than three years as an area manager with Regus in Shenzhen. The former hotel executive has 11 years of management experience including serving stints with Disney in Beijing, as well as with Starwood hotels in Guangzhou and Ningbo.
Kiki Lee has joined Sodexo as a Head of Business Development for Corporate Services with the facility management specialist. Based in Shanghai, Lee was previously the Head of Business Development of Property and Facility Management at Cushman & Wakefield for close to six years, where she provided real estate strategies and solutions to corporate clients in China. She has also worked for companies including Savills and MetalSoft.
Cherry Yin has moved to Colliers International’s Beijing office as a Senior Associate Director in charge of office leasing. The new role also involves a new city for Yin, who previously had worked in Tianjin for more than 15 years, including serving most recently as head of office leasing for developer Yanlord Land in the city. Yin also has previous experience with leasing and management at JLL and CBRE.
