An Aussie-based logistics developer looks to go pan-Asian with a new hire in Singapore, a veteran office expert expands into residential in Hong Kong, and a former broker of the year gets some recognition at one of the international agencies. Read on for all the details.

stephen hawkinsStephen Hawkins has signed up with rapidly expanding warehouse developer Logos Property as Managing Director of Logos Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. The industrial real estate veteran takes the reins at the logistics developer’s southeast Asian operation as it opens its Singapore office, after starting up in Australia in 2010 and later expanding into China. Hawkins, who had served as development director with Boustead Singapore until early this year, also formerly worked as the CEO of Macquarie Goodman Asia. Logos has acquired a pair of logistics facilities in Singapore already, and has declared its intent to execute more deals in the region.

jessica yipJessica Yip is now director of office and residential leasing at Hysan Development in Hong Kong. The new role expands Yip’s responsibilities into the residential sector, after she served as director of office leasing with the Hong Kong-based developer. The graduate of the University of London and MBA holder from the Chinese University of Hong Kong also previously worked in leasing with the Sino Group and spent four years as a broker with CBRE in the city.

johnny hansonJohnny Hanson is now Director for Retail Services at Knight Frank Greater China, based in Hong Kong. Formerly a retail consultant with UK-based agency, Johnson has been with Knight Frank for four years, during which time he has been responsible for positioning, tenant mix and marketing for the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project, and was recognised as the company’s agent of the year for 2013.

kirsten wangKirsten Wang has joined CBRE in Beijing as a Senior Manager with the Investment Services team at the real estate agency. Wang takes on her new role after spending more than four years with Savills investment team in Hong Kong and Chengdu, where she assisted clients with financial analysis of property acquisitions and development, as well as monitoring market activity for the company. The City University of Hong Kong graduate also has experience with Kerry Properties in Hong Kong.
