The China pavilion for Expo 2015 in Milan will not be nearly as cool as what we have planned for Mingtiandi
I hope that all of you are enjoying the holidays and the brief respite from the constant flow of China real estate happenings.
While our workaholic crew here at Mingtiandi never really takes a vacation, we have slowed down to a weekly interval for our newsletters during the Christmas season, and our updates of the site have been more sporadic than periodic. Rest assured, however, that we will be back to our usual schedule of daily updated China real estate news starting from January 5th.
Also starting in the new year, we will be adding two new regular features, that have been requested by readers.
China Outbound Investment Dealflow
For 2014 Mingtiandi’s award-winning coverage of China’s outbound investment wave will be expanded to include even more deals, as well as a regularly updated leaderboard of investors, destinations, and service providers who have assisted Chinese firms in completing real estate transactions in other countries.
While the major news agencies already give ample coverage to mega-deals of over $100 million, the biggest share of the pie still belongs to the $10 mil-$100 million range, and Mingtiandi will be aggregating this information for all of you.

China Leasing Leaders
Also beginning in the new year, Mingtiandi will publish feature stories and rankings on major commercial leasing deals in both Shanghai and Hong Kong. Our new section will spotlight which occupiers are moving into what buildings and who are the agencies that are helping these deals get done.

With all of this on our plates, it’s still a busy holiday season here in the Mingtiandi workshop, and we’re looking forward to bringing you even more China property market information in 2015.
