As I mentioned in a post last week, I have been trying out the YesWare email analytics app to help fine-tune my sales here at RightSite.
Now that I’ve had a few more days to try out the program I’ve discovered a few more bells and whistles, my favorite of which is the map that shows you where your contact is when they open your mail. Â Here’s a quick screenshot of my map for the last few days.
While this is undoubtedly a cool feature, my big question has to do with the map marker which is off the coast of West Africa. Â Can you see it down there? Â Who do I know that is opening email off the African coast? Â Have I got a friend working on an oil rig? Â Have I been hacked? Â Now I’ll never get any sleep!
The other interesting fact that the mail shows is how many of China’s residents are off visiting western Europe for the summer — just look at all those map markers in the UK, France and Spain. Â Lucky *&^%$#@!
Anyway, my YesWare is continuing to happily update me with notice on who has read my mail, and I will try to do almost as good of a job updating all of you on the latest in sales tools.
